So I haven't written one of these in like...a year and 7 months. Not that anyone's reading them because everyone I know doesn't check this site at all. But something big is coming up and sometimes I just don't know it's all going to end up. Seriously. The future freaks me out. And I get so much shit for not thinking about my future, but honestly? I just want to take it one day at a time. That's all I seem to be able to do nowadays anyway. (A lot has happened, and frankly I don't feel like writing about it. It's over now.) April. God knows last year where I was at this point. A lot has happened this year though, especially this month and I think it's a sign that hopefully things will change. I got my major switched to Music Education (finally) and faced my fear of auditions. I got my license, which in turn gives me freedom to do what I want now. And I sent in an application to be drum major of marching band next year (also conquering one of my other fears) and now Dr. Wiley is working on getting me music to conduct the concert band with. Needless to say, I'm pretty overjoyed. Just thought I'd post this. For future me, or whatever.
